About Back Door Donuts
Oak Bluffs bakery with roots back to 1948 as Walmsley's Bakery. USA Today named it the fifth-best bakery in the country, and Food Network has featured it. In the evening the back door opens and the line forms for warm apple fritters from the oven, a late-night island ritual. More than 30 donut varieties, gluten-free options, front bakery open 8 AM to 3 PM, and a Boston location at Loretta's Last Call near Fenway.
