About Esh
Family-owned, serving upscale contemporary American cooking. Rebranded from the Mexican restaurant Dos Mas in March 2026 after chef Michael Thomas joined from California, where he was a founding force behind Swaygu. Co-owned by Evan Shai with his siblings Zared Shai and Megan Shai Brown, who also run Taco MV in Edgartown and Katama Kitchen at the Katama Airfield. Esh is Hebrew for fire.
