About Iggy's Bread of the World
The newest spot in Menemsha, opened in 2024 in the former home of The Bite, which closed in 2017, on a three-year lease from the Nixon family. Coffee, cold drinks, pastries and artisan bread baked on the mainland, with croissants prepared and baked on site. Menemsha had no morning coffee or breakfast after the Menemsha Market fire of 2019, so this fills a real gap. The Chilmark select board limited the menu to coffee, drinks, pastries and bread, so no sandwiches, pizza or cakes.
