About Menemsha Fish Market
Owner Stanley Larsen (Betsy's cousin) with wife Lanette, purchased in 2004 from Poole's Fish Market (on site since 1946). 'Whole fish and nothing but the fish.' Year-round, one of only two winter businesses in Menemsha (the other: Texaco). Winter hours: Fri–Sat 11 AM–5 PM, Sun 12–4 PM. More creative menu than Larsen's: seafood chimichangas, lobster quesadillas, seafood nachos. Stanley farms his own blue mussels. Ships lobsters and fish nationwide. 'Sunset' Lobster Combo is the signature for sunset dining.
